Outdoor Street Art – Valentine’s Bar Animal Mural

Outdoor Street Art – Valentine’s Bar Animal Mural

We were put in touch with the owners at Valentine’s Bar by their neighboring bar, District Bar after working with them for a creative outdoor mural installation. Valentine’s Bar loved the installation we facilitated for District Bar so much that they knew they wanted to work with our team and the same Portland-based graffiti artist.

This well known PNW spray paint artist has installed numerous murals across Oregon and Washington. They were particularly excited about installing their artwork for this bar, as a regular to the bar for group hangs, movie nights and DJ and dance sets. The interior of the space had a cute, collective and feminine vibe to it. After meeting with the owners and our team, the artist pitched creating a mural with an adorable white bunny rabbit as the main focal point. The bunny would be surrounded by a garden of abstract shapes and designs reminiscent of a magical vegetable garden.

The artwork took a few days to install and turned out beautiful and vibrant. The owner was thrilled and invited our team and the artist to come back anytime for drinks on the house. Additionally, the local community and customers of the area expressed their gratitude and appreciation for such a fun installation to foster further community and creativity. As an art consulting studio, we were thrilled with how the piece turned out and the local connections that were made!

This outdoor street art was part of the Together We Grow PDX Community Art Project located across downtown Portland, Oregon.
